Christmas party at GOAL Session in 2025
The SAF Ghana Goal Session closed the year with a vibrant Christmas celebration bringing together mentors and mentees in a shared moment of reflection and joy. A total of 50 participants gathered to mark the end of months of consistent learning, guidance, and personal development.
The
event highlighted the impact of mentorship in shaping academic growth and
confidence among the young participants. Mentors shared brief remarks, pointing
to the steady progress seen across reading, communication, and critical
thinking skills. Mentees, in turn, expressed appreciation for the support and
encouragement received throughout the sessions. SAF handed over bags,
notebooks, pens/pencils and other education materials to the mentees/students
for their use over the break.
The
atmosphere blended celebration with purpose, reinforcing the value of
community-driven education and entertainment. Activities included light games,
music, and informal interactions that strengthened bonds beyond the classroom
setting.
SAF Ghana noted that the Christmas celebration served not just as a party, but
as a milestone marker for collective effort. The session wrapped up with
renewed commitment from both mentors and mentees to continue the learning
journey in the coming year.
As the year closes, SAF Ghana looks ahead to expanding its reach and deepening
its impact through structured mentorship programs.
